Deborah Walker is a communications and digital marketing professional from
Charlotte, North Carolina, with a love for storytelling, creativity, and meaningful connection. She is a proud 2022 graduate of Livingstone College, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in English and discovered her passion for using words to tell stories that resonate. In 2025, she earned her Master’s degree in Digital Marketing from Wake Forest University, combining her creative instincts with strategy, branding, and data-driven thinking.

Deborah currently works as the Communications Specialist at Livingstone College, and brings experience from previous roles with the North Carolina Department of Transportation and the North Carolina Coordinated Campaign for Kamala Harris. Across these spaces, she has supported communications, and messaging efforts that strengthened public engagement and community connection. Her work is guided by intention and the belief that good storytelling should feel human and accessible.

Outside of work, Deborah enjoys going to the movies, reading books, and finding inspiration in everyday moments. She’s always up for discovering a new favorite film, getting lost in a good story, or exploring ideas that spark creativity and growth.
